Key Result Responsibilities

  • Develops a centralized rostering strategy aligned with business objectives across multiple AOCs. and collaborates with function leads in each hub to ensure effective execution. It provides necessary guidance and direction to the hubs on all Crew Planning and Control matters.
  • Reviews the administrative and operational areas of Crew Planning and Control across all AOCs, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Reviews overall policies and procedures and provides recommendations for enhancements in compliance with local regulations and group standards.
  • Supports the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all AOCs to ensure full compliance with aviation regulations, operating standards, and company policies.
  • Review the overall long-term crew planning strategy to ensure it is aligned with business goals and operational demands.
  • Supports digital transformation and automation initiatives to optimize crew efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Reviews schedule and recommends adjustments to minimize headcount needs while maximizing crew usability.
  • Provides strategic guidance to stakeholders managing internal and external entities on various matters ensuring that crew members’ entry requirements in operating to new stations are planned and executed timely and accurately. 
  • Advice on future workforce challenges, trends & provides proactive strategies to address them.


Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

  • Reviews risk management initiatives related to fatigue, regulatory compliance, and operational disruptions.
  • Drives best practices across multi-AOC operations, ensuring harmonization of systems and procedures.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with stakeholders and seek feedback on areas of improvement.
  • Mentors and provides advisory support to a group-wide team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field, A master's degree is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations, Fatigue Risk Management, and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and implement operational efficiencies.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven crew optimization solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to various hubs and operational locations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-hub/ multi-AOC crew operations.
